ok im much better already. just left with the occasional sinus and the odd cough.
been very tired lately, probably due to the hectic activities i've engaged myself in the past few days. i spent the onset of the new year at siloso beach on sentosa, unfortunately not to party but to work. got myself a lobang for a one-time, 12-hour, overnight stint with km8, as part of the whole MTV celebration thingy. the pay was good so it was quite rewarding la. had to do ushering, crowd control, a little bit of callbacks for orders, and lotsa carrying of crates and cartons. the music was good, though later on i got real dizzy when they switched to those house and techno shit. the place was brimmed with many foreign nationals and impressionable talk-with-a-slang kids. it was comical to see people-who-think-they-can-dance actually dancing. haha.. macam cartoon man. and drunk people? whatever that comes out of their mouth are just nonsense. verbal or otherwise. teruk la.. well anyways i was concussed when i got home the next morning. went home and slept straightaway til the evening before meeting the gf for dinner.
dinner was great, shared with her abit of that hard-earned money eating pizza. yummeh. also got for meself a set of pants, and she got a pair of jeans. hehe. compulsive mebbe but who cares. i need variety.
the next few days saw me resuming work as per normal. boring but what to do. my body also ached due to the after-effects of carrying all those heavy stuff, so was pretty shagged out la. had our annual stocktake yesterday too, had to scan practically everything in the store. can you imagine that, every single disc. leceh leceh.
things aint all that bad for me though. managed to get all my intended modules for next semester within the first bidding round. saved me the trouble of checking CORS anymore. will therefore be taking religion, education, sexuality, family, and social inequalities. interesting stuff.. i likee..
and i renewed my broadband contract with Starhub, and they gave me an Xbox in return! woohooo..
but im broke right now. so yea gotta budget when the term starts.
well that's about it i guess whenever something happens there's always another thing underlying it. with good comes bad, with bad comes good. life's like that for me.
will be going off for a short break this weekend. a much needed breather. till then ya. oh and a Happy Hari Raya Haji and a belated New Year to all. cheers.
